This is probably also sadly very true


-  only 0.5% of the U.S. population has ever run a marathon

- the average number of miles per week for those marathon training is 40

- there are 570 marathons held annually in the U.S.

- the average woman burns 2,880 calories in a marathon

- the record for fastest marathon time is 2:03:59

  1. Did my first 1/2 marathon on St. Patricks Day - signed up to do my first full in October - I am already a nervous nelly but I ammm soooooooooooooooooooooooooo going to love the feeling once I finish! www.colorushealthy.com
