I found this recipe in the January issue of Fitness Magazine and have been waiting, oh, 4 months to finally try it out!
Here are the ingredients you will need:
5 raw almonds
an apple (leave the skin on)
3/4 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
1/2 cup non-fat milk (all I had on hand was 2%)
one frozen banana cut into chunks
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
* I added 1 tbsp of Wheat Germ as well
First things first, place your 5 almonds in the blender or food processor until they are finely ground.
Then add the apple, yogurt, milk, banana, and cinnamon ( + wheat germ if you prefer).
Blend the ingredients until smooth and serve.
