I am getting ready to bid this first trimester goodbye! It has been bittersweet.  We are thankful that this sweet baby is growing and developing.

I obviously haven't been out in the sun much.

Pregnancy Highlights
How Far Along: 12 weeks and 3 days
Size of baby:  Sweet baby is the size of a plum
Total Weight Gain: I have gained 1.4 lbs so far.
Gender: Too early to tell.
Movement: Too early to feel movement.
Sleep:  I am starting to sleep much better and usually only get up once a night to go to the bathroom.
What I miss: Doing things without getting winded.
Cravings: Fried shrimp and hush puppies. I hope to get my fill at the beach in a week!
Symptoms: Constant nausea but it is getting more bearable. Slight headaches. Mood swings. My poor husband :)
Best Moment this week: Hearing the baby's heartbeat at my doctor's appointment and getting to go to Zumba!

Last Thursday I woke up feeling much better. I was even able to make it through a whole hour of Zumba which made my day/week/month!

I made sure I was fueled and ready and was so thankful to feel well enough to exercise. It has been a long time!

I was sure to keep a close eye on my heart rate using my New Balance heart rate monitor. I kept it under 180 and felt just fine.

And Father's Day went a little something like this:

And this morning has been spent doing lots of laundry and little guy playing with mommy's shoes:
