Today has been quite unusual and I hope the rest of the day goes as great as this morning has been.
I haven't been very nauseous today which is very, very odd. A little, but very bearable.
After getting up and making little man some oatmeal with brown sugar and strawberries, I actually felt like going for a walk. Crazy! I loaded up my little buddy in the stroller, put on some Nike shorts and a tank top and we headed out the door.
It was still very humid at 8:30AM when we started our walk, but it was a quick 20 minute walk so it wasn't too bad. I am a pretty pathetic pregnant lady. When I'm not pregnant I am a cardio addict! I cannot get enough. Now short walks leave me winded. Crazy hormones.
Once my little guy when down for nap I decided to try an arm workout that I had pinned on Pinterest.
You can follow me on Pinterest HERE!
What led me to repin this was obvious. Look at these arms!
She is obviously doing something right :)
And her hair is fab as well.
She is no where in the workout video I did, but it was great motivation to get my soft arms in better shape. I am discipline with cardio. Not so much with strength training.
This video was only 10 minutes and requires 3 and 5 lb weights. I don't have less than 5 so I just did easier sets on with my 5 lb weights when we were told to use the 3's.
It wasn't incredibly challenging, which is good for my pregnant self. I could tell the moves were isolating specific muscles which is what I want.
Watch it here! :)
If I keep feeling well I might try to pop into Zumba this afternoon.
I might be overdoing it but I am taking advantage of these rare moments!
Happy Thursday!
What was/will be your workout today?
So glad you're not feeling nauseous today! I'm sure it felt great to walk and do a little bit of arm work :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome workout! Thanks for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was great! I even made it to the Zumba class I used to teach :) I made it the whole hour. Woo hoo!!
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for a good (short) arm workout video on Youtube, I'll have to check that out! I don't own weights but maybe I can watch it on my phone at the gym. ;)

My triceps were so sore for two days afterwards. I am so weak :) It is a great workout! Give it a try.
