Thanks, friends, for sticking with me and my recent lack of blogging.
I feel like everyday is the same these days and not much eventful is happening. I am just trucking right along and am ready for this first trimester to pass.
Today, I am 11 weeks!
I'll post pics soon, hopefully.
Pregnancy Highlights
How Far Along: 11 weeks
Size of baby: Sweet baby is the size of a lime.
Total Weight Gain: I don't have a scale at our house. Hoping just a few pounds at this point!
Gender: Too early to tell.
Movement: Too early to feel movement.
Sleep: I am sleeping OK. I can get restless legs during some nights and have to fight nausea which makes falling asleep hard. I do wake up 2 times a night to go to the bathroom. It is like clockwork! Practically the same times each night.
What I miss: Feeling like myself. I haven't really been out of the house much and everything I do wears me out. It can be incredibly taxing.
Cravings: I have wanted macaroni and cheese, grape juice, and Raisin Bran this week.Weird, right?
Symptoms: Headaches, constant nausea, crazy mood swings, fatigue, restless legs
Best Moment this week: I had 2 days where I was off of the couch most of the day which is huge for me!
This week I purchased a few pieces of maternity clothing from Old Navy and Wal-Mart.
My regular clothes fit just fine and honestly I am sporting a first trimester wardrobe of yoga pants and t-shirts most days so it isn't an issue.
I borrowed most of my maternity clothes with M but now that we have moved I knew I would need some things. It will be much colder this time around in the fall and winter than it was in Orlando. I am well prepared for that, I believe!
I am so thankful to be able to see the light at the end of this first trimester. My sister is due 4 weeks before me and has been way more sick than I can even imagine. I feel bad complaining about me being in bed or on the couch all day with nausea and headaches. My poor sista has had it rough! I haven't seen her in 10 months and get to in just a few short weeks. She lives 875 miles away from me and we are going to spend some time at the beach with our parents very soon. So excited!
I love and miss my beautiful sister!!
How are you spending your weekend??
I'm glad that you were able to get off the couch! I've heard that you actually feel better/get less nauseous if you exercise, but I've never done it/been pregnant, so I don't know.
ReplyDeleteTell your sister that I hope she feels better! Does she have a blog?
I love those clothes that you got; I also love that I am not the only one to shop at Old Navy! :)
